Vos Logistics makes €5,000 charitable pledge

Vos Logistics has kept faith with its promise to donate €5,000 to charity following feedback from staff.
The logistics firm has made the pledge to various charitable organisations based on the preference of employees in the countries they are located in. A total of 1,450 people took part.
In the Netherlands, the company chose to donate money to KidsRight, a charity Vos Logistics has worked with for seven years.
The company said: “The opinion and feedback of our colleagues is extremely important to the organisation and gives us great insights in their needs in their daily work life.
“By the closing date of the survey, 1.450 of our personnel had filled it in; a response rate of 61%, which we are very proud of! In order to express our thankfulness, we have donated a total of €5,000 – to different charity organizations.”
Vos Logistics employs 3,000 people and it operates a modern fleet of 1,400 Euro 5, EEV and Euro 6 vehicles, 4,000 loading units and 300,000 m2 of storage space.
