VTG Tanktainer adds Flexitanks to portfolio
VTG Tanktainer has announced the addition of Flexitanks to its range of facilities for carrying liquid goods.
By adding Flexitanks into standard box containers, customers can ship non-hazardous bulk goods, including oils, wines, fruit juices, biofuels and industrial chemicals not classified as hazardous.
The Flexitanks to be deployed by VTG Tanktainer are made in Germany, with capacities ranging from 12,000 litres to 24,000 litres. The tanks are fitted into 20-foot box containers in accordance with precise specifications.
In comparison to drums and IBCs, Flexitanks allow as much as 30% more payload to be shipped in a 20-foot box container, according to VTG Tanktainer.
