Den Hartogh achieves gold rating on EcoVardis

This prestigious recognition highlighted the company’s ongoing commitment to environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards and sets it apart from the competition.
EcoVadis is a globally recognised sustainability rating platform that analyses over 100,000 companies annually, evaluating their performance across four critical areas - environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
These evaluations aim to provide a transparent view of how sustainability practices are being implemented across industries.
The EcoVadis sustainability scorecards offer detailed insights into ecological, social and ethical risks in 200 categories across 175 countries and the ratings are accessible to business partners via an online platform.
In the past year, the company’s score increased from 55 to 75 points, placing Den Hartogh in the top 5% of all EcoVadis-rated companies.
A spokesman said: “We made significant strides in environment and labour and human rights, with both categories improving by over 25 points.
“Notably, we achieved an impressive 86 points in the Environment category - our highest score to date.”
