New transport director at TALKE appointed

The specialist logistics company ALFRED TALKE has appointed André van den Broek as its new director of the transport division.
Van den Broek will be responsible for transport activities in Europe across TALKE's sites in Germany, Luxembourg and Poland.
The division was previously headed up by Peter Viebig, who departed the company at the end of 2020.
Van den Broek has many years of experience in the logistics industry. He spent over 20 years working for the DHL Group, during which time he managed various divisions.
Further management posts followed at MUK/Transthermos, the Nagel Group (Kraftverkehr Nagel) and most recently at STUTE Logistics in Bremen.
Van den Broek, 55, was born in the Netherlands, but has lived in Germany for many years and now resides in Nordheide on the northern edge of the Lüneburger Heide.
"I'm very much looking forward to working at a modern medium-sized company,” said van den Broek.
"TALKE has a long and illustrious history, solid corporate values and is an acknowledged expert in the field of special logistics.
“One competitive advantage that TALKE has is that it offers the full spectrum of supply chain logistics services under one roof – from the planning and construction of logistics facilities to their operation and international transport solutions. We will be highlighting this advantage more clearly when implementing the measures to strengthen our customer relationships.”
