Busy week for Abbey’s silo evacuation service
Abbey Logistics nationwide silo evacuation team have had a busy week helping customers get their manufacturing sites up and running again quickly by removing blockages and contaminated products from silos.
So far this week our food grade and non food grade silo evac tanks have been in Scotland, the Midlands and the South-West supporting customers in the cement polymers and food manufacturing sectors.
Urgency is key when production is stopped due to silo problems and the team of experienced planners and drivers can be with customers, often the same day, to remove blockages or contaminated products.
In addition to silo evacuation the nationwide silo team has also helped customers with major spillages of powders, granulated and pellets providing full clean-up services, and through our bag to bulk, rip and tip solution on the Wirral, the company can also decant evacuated material into bulk bags and securely store at our warehouse facility.
