Legend expands container depot footprint in India
Legend Group has announced that it has expanded its footprint in India with the opening of a new container depot.
Legend Container Depot in Kandla was officially opened on 25 January this year.
This event marked the opening of the firm’s second depot in the country after successfully starting up and operating its tank depot in Nhava Sheva in January.
Strategically located just 12 kilometers from Kandla port and 65 kilometers from Mundra port, this 5-acre (20,000 sq m) facility provides quick access to two of India’s busiest ports with a handling capacity of 1,200 TEUs.
The establishment of this depot is part of Legend’s strategic plan to further expand our services to northern India territory and capture the opportunities in this rapidly growing market.
Additionally, it allows our customers in this region to benefit from greater flexibility, cost savings, and efficiency by gaining quick access to our solutions.
