Quala CEO: ‘We are supporting the nation’
The head of US bulk transportation container cleaner Quala has reached out to his workforce amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
CEO Scott Harrison said staff were required to work from home where possible as the virus continues to spread across the country.
He said: “We at Quala are taking actions to support the nation and protect vulnerable segments of our society, all while not overwhelming our healthcare system.
“We recognise the challenges that many of our staff will face through this crisis and are committed to handling any concerns on a case-by-case basis.
“While being supportive to nationwide suggestions to control the pandemic, we are making cognitive choices that will allow our business to run smoothly.”
At the end of last year the company opened a new facility in Angleton, Texas, which was previously operated by Premier Container Services.
