Tankclean Sweden acquires Siloclean i Stenungsund

Directors of Tankclean Sweden have announced that the company has acquired all the shares in Siloclean i Stenungsund.
Tankclean has during the last year expanded its One-Stop-Shop concept by adding workshop and haulage services to its traditional cleaning of liquid products and heating activities.
Siloclean, with one site in Stenungsund, has been the main operator for dry bulk cleaning in the Gothenburg/Stenungsund region while Tankclean has focused on liquid cleaning. With this acquisition, Tankclean will further strengthen its position as the major cleaning operator in Northern Europe.
Patrik Fagerström, CEO of Tankclean Sweden AB, said: “We have for a long time desired to expand further into the dry bulk segment of interior cleaning and it’s very positive that we have been able to agree with Siloclean on this deal.
“Given that Stenungsund is the petrochemical centre in Sweden, Tankclean as main provider of cleaning of both dry and liquid bulk products in the area makes us a key part of the petrochemical infrastructure. It’s a big responsibility we are proud to honour.”
Tankclean will shortly inform all customers, suppliers and other stakeholders about the further developments it will launch to optimise the high-quality cleaning in Stenungsund.
All operational details such as opening hours and contact information for both Siloclean and Tankclean are unchanged. Following the acquisition, Tankclean now owns six sites in Sweden and is the largest company in Northern Europe within the tank cleaning industry.
Tankclean also performs workshop jobs, terminal handling, heating and haulage services. All facilities are SQAS certified. As a long-term member of EFTCO (European Federation of Tank Cleaning Organisations), Tankclean is also represented at the EFTCO board.
