VERVAEKE has acquired the French transport company Bertout, based in Nesle.
The acquisition aligns with VERVAEKE’s long-term strategy to further strengthen its presence on the French market.
The day-to-day operations of Transports Bertout will remain unchanged, and owner-manager Francis Bertout will continue to be involved during an initial phase to support the integration.
Like VERVAEKE, Bertout specialises in the transport of dangerous goods, with a strong focus on the same product segments. The acquisition therefore represents a logical and strategic extension of VERVAEKE’s existing service offering.
For Bertout, the transaction provides a sustainable long-term perspective, ensuring the continuity of the company.
